Description
The clock on the Town Hall Tower of the Jewish city in Prague, with two dials, one with Roman numerals and the other with the Hebrew alphabet.
In the Hebrew language, the letters of the alphabet (aleph, beth, ghimel, dalet, or the equivalents of our A, B, G, etc.) also served as numbers.
The peculiarity of this clock is that it works backwards, Hebrew is read from right to left and therefore the hands also work backwards, or counterclockwise.
