Narodni Palace in Prague

Designed by Fiala. Magnificent modernity with the past inside. Due to its unique appearance with a green roof and balconies full of vegetation, the building is often called "Turf" by the city's residents.

For the fully glazed façade, the architects wanted to achieve a neutral look, so that the glass would blend in well with the surrounding historical buildings, where mostly uncoated glass is used. They also needed glazing that could provide excellent solar control.
