I prefer black and white for its ability to evoke different views, using only light and shadow. Photography should leave the reader the possibility of grasping his own reality. looking at the photo. I understood the possibilities of photography not long ago. I had seen the film "A Private Affair" and it had struck me, I judged it very true and without rhetoric. Then I read Fenoglio's novel and appreciated it much more. I had understood that the simple film, the visual flow of images cannot equal the richness of images, feelings, environments that the written page can give. A shot can capture this. This is what I would like to achieve with photography, to mark with the image that richness of the written page, to tell it.
